How it works

Google Maps estimates the ETA of an order based on driving distance and traffic patterns. It does not take into consideration the driver actually waiting for an Order at a restaurant. Adding a standard "Waiting" time can give you better control over your customer's expectations of ETA.

Also, once the driver has moved beyond the "Waiting" status, the ETA no longer takes into account the "Waiting" time.

How to do it

  1. Be on the 86EnRoute micro-app.
  2. Go to the "Settings" tab within the Admin Dashboard. Get there by clicking on the "Admin Dashboard" tab in the micro-app's black title bar and selecting the "Settings" tab below.

  3. Choose "Other" from the list of collapsible items on the left side navigation column (dark blue background) and select "Orders" from the list.
  4. Click the selection box on the page and choose the duration of the estimated "Waiting" time.

  5. Save your changes by clicking on the "Save" button in the upper right corner.

Remember that every restaurant will have the same estimated "Waiting" time.

The default is set to 0 minutes.
